Next Saturday, the band and I will be playing at the Relay for Life , a benefit for the American Cancer Society in Geneva, New York. I was asked to perform by Wildy Haskell who writes the wonderful blog, Wildy’s World. He is raising money this year in honor of a loved one who is fighting cancer. His relay team is called the Cave Crashers. They have a goal of raising $15,000 through participating in this event. Please consider helping Wildy reach this goal by contributing whatever you can. The Relay for Life is an overnight walking/jogging event that aims to raise awareness about cancer as well as raise funds for the American Cancer Society. It’s meant to be a celebration of life and cancer survivorship as well as a tribute to those who are fighting cancer now and those friends we have lost. Everyone has a personal connection to this disease and I’m thrilled to be performing at this event. There’s an amazing line up of bands playing with diverse and interesting sounds including Jennings and Rachael Sage. Click here for a complete line-up.
And thanks so much to everyone who came out to Caffe Vivaldi and the Rosendale Street Festival this past weekend. It was a lot of fun.
